About Find your pueblo
Find your pueblo helps you choose a pueblo by what you want to do: a quiet beach, cider, high mountains, or starry skies. You combine experiences, add your trip, and compare pueblos with the reasons for each.
How we score
We measure more than twenty signals for every pueblo from open data: official beaches and bathing spots, protected areas, trails, heritage, food designations, dark skies, quietness, and more. Each signal is compared with every other pueblo in Spain and runs from 0 to 100.
How they combine
Each experience weighs the signals that matter to it: “Quiet beach” looks mostly at the beach and the quiet. Pick several and the score is their average. With a month, the climate adjusts the order; with a starting point, only pueblos within your driving range appear.
What we don’t do
There are no paid reviews and no sponsored pueblos: nobody pays to rank higher. The data is updated every month and may contain mistakes.
Why these regions
We started with Asturias, Cantabria, and Aragon to get the data right: 895 pueblos under 20,000 residents. More regions will follow.
